Knot It Out
Rope puzzle game: a tangled cable on the table, and you undo it by dragging it and passing it over or under itself without breaking it.
The idea
Everyone has fought a pair of headphones that came out of a pocket in a knot. Knot It Out turns that moment into a puzzle: the rope lies tangled on the table, and the challenge is to leave it straight.
How it plays
You drag the rope with the mouse and each section follows the one before, the way a real cable would. The trick is in the crossings: with right click or Shift the section you are moving passes under instead of over, which is what lets you undo loops that would otherwise only tighten.
While playing, the screen only shows what matters: a cable integrity meter, points and time. Each level starts from an everyday object — the first one, a pair of headphones.
